Terry Stanley

Terry Stanley is the CEO of Gospel Drama Ministries, Inc., and the Dramatic Arts Coordinator at the Calvary Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. Terry has been ministering through Christian drama for since 1975 as a writer, director, producer, actor, and conference/workshop speaker. He has written numerous full-production Christian dramas as well as short sketches, monologues, and reader’s theater presentations for use in worship services. Terry has traveled throughout Maryland, and in Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina ministering the Word of God through drama in churches, auditoriums, and within the prison system. Terry’s dramatic presentations have also been featured multiple times on Baltimore’s local gospel TV show, “Grace and Glory”.

Terry’s passion is to promote the use of drama as an effective tool for ministry in the church and community.

“We have the challenge of ministering to a "visual" generation. The youth and young adults of today have grown up with visual stimuli their entire life: TV, video games, music videos, computer images, virtual reality, etc. In order to communicate God’s Word and His message we must first get the "undivided" attention of the people. Jesus wants us to be fishers of men! Drama, and other creative art presentations, is the bait, so that we might hook them on the Word of God. God is calling upon us to use all of the gifts and talents He has given to us for His purpose and for His glory”.
